One year ago today

We are all thinking about it. Where we were. What we were doing. One year ago today I was celebrating the opening of my solo show. It was about structural racism, and the barriers I have as a white person to seeing it. It was two years in the making. I had done a lot of research, personal inquiry, and artistic exploration. I was afraid to put this work out into the world. Afraid of entering into the public conversation about race and white privilege. None of us had any idea what was coming.
